| Just read an article declaring the very real possibility of AI chatbots being
able to guide us in controlling our lucid dreams, foremost in order to explore
lost memories. Can you imagine the potential in that, I hardly can. Not just
the for the obvious therapeutic benefits, but the possibility of accessing more
of the remaining 86% (on average) of the human brain never before utilized.
The potential of building neural networks into that vast region of virgin space,
considering that the utmost complex entity known, still is the human brain. Imagine
then the possibilities of using more of it.
Though don't know just how close that achievement practically is, they're
somewhat vague with that info. But just the idea of it seriously being explored...
Going to pull a later incoming order, before exploring that lucid dream control

| At the shore where I workout, are this time of year, a lot of wildlife vying
for what I can only assume is their share of what spring's offering. Mostly
birds; seabirds, ravens and various birds of prey, above while I strenuously
plow on.
Today, I was given an aerial show with a falcon battling ravens. Never seen such
before. Observing what I could through my exhaustion, it was glorious to witness
the falcon’s ability to evade the blackbirds' assault. I can only assume
that it's the plentiful number of rabbits at our feet, the falcon was interested
in.
These rabbit staying close underfoot, are strangely unafraid of us humans. In
noticing the falcon today and ospreys previously, I had a thought that perhaps
the rabbits might've learned that humans (we working out) keep birds of prey
at bay? Just a random thought this morning. Could be projecting

Author: | Hardstone | Posted: | May 15, 2024 18:18 | Subject: | What would be your first guess? | Viewed: | 133 times | Topic: | Off Topic | |
| Here is a little thought experiment that I want to try with those in here who
are willing to participate. Lacking any clues to the actual context, what would
be your first assumption if someone you didn’t know and never met in real life
claimed to own all of the following. Note, the claim below applies to me and
it’s all true. I’ll reveal the context (with photos for proof) later.
I own…
1 Audi Automobile
3 Batmobiles
1 BMW Automobile
1 Bugatti Automobile
1 Buick Automobile
3 Chevrolet Automobiles (two of which are Corvettes)
2 Dodge Automobiles
2 Ferrari Automobiles
2 Ford Automobiles
3 Lamborghini Automobiles
1 Lotus Automobile
1 McLaren Automobile
1 Mercedez Benz Automobile
1 Mercury Automobile
1 Tucker Automobile
I also own…
1 Airbus A330
1 Airbus A350
1 Boeing 737
3 Boeing 747s (one of which is Air Force One)
1 Boeing 757
1 Boeing 767
1 Boeing 777
Which of these “context” options would be your first guess? What would be the
first thing that comes to mind? What would you assume? Note of the options below,
only one is true when applied to me. The rest are all false.
The context options are…
A: He is a multi-billionaire who owns a huge garage full of cars and a small
fleet of aircraft.
B: He ran an investment (Ponzi scheme) and derived his fortune by ripping off
investors.
C: He ripped off taxpayers by fraudulently getting a PPP loan from the government
and spending the money on himself instead of paying his employees.
D: He is an eclectic collector of diecast cars and desktop aircraft.
E: He's an imaginative dreamer.

| I consider myself a Lego unboxing robot, of the organic kind, near the end of
one long chain in the Lego distribution network.
Therefore, it is unusual when I find myself having a good time parting out a
set. Don't get me wrong, I like parting out sets, but it generally is a job.
The series 26 minifigures part out was fun and felt nothing like work. So many
exciting parts too!

This entire piece is molded!
Dual molded M-tron exoskeleton legs!

If you've parted these out, what were some of your favorites?
I would especially like to hear from axaday since they did a lot of the inventory

| People probably already know this, but Legoland California no longer has any
pick a brick worth visiting at all. They also do not take cash. Anywhere for
any reason. There are two small pick a brick walls, one in a store at the gate,
and another in the underwater store area. Both only had small cups. I had to
buy a bag to carry the 4-5 small cups i did get. I was at legoland florida in
March and they at least had bags, and they also were selling bricks by weight.
They also had a person greeting people as they entered the parking lot, who
informed you they do not accept cash. Legoland california has no one. You potentially
could get stuck at the gate, if you had a bunch of people behind you. I am sure
many are okay with this, but not I. How can they make a bunch of plastic bricks
for sale, but we can not even have a plastic straw? So I have decided, legoland
germany is it. Gonna stay for a week, that's 200g's per brick element
per day, if I am correct. Bring a couple empty suitcases. And give the rest
to a buddy and have him ship them on base. Looks to be about a 3hr drive from
Frankfort. That was my last trip to legoland california. I will not return
again. It's their loss, last time I was there, they had to use x2 golf
carts to move all the stuff I bought to my car.
Totally Disappointed,
Ron P

| I have been doing some research into the LEGO movies to see if they are worth
watching.
But I have extracted all the info available, and I can’t figure out why the LEGO
movie 2 failed.
So what are your thoughts about the second part?

the experience very helpful in balancing that moral compass we all depend, perhaps
even more so today
My son blazed through his original Mediations. Then again, Gavin's intellectually
exceptional and therefore easily bored. In other words, no "contemporary
reading" for him But for us normies its a recommended and excellent way
to absorb the man's timeless reasoning. Grounding
