We have not received any emails (order confirmations, copies of our invoices,
copies of our shipping confirmations, notifications of receipt of payment) via
the BrickLink messaging system for approximately 24 hours. Does anybody have
the same Problem? The BrickLink Help Desk has not yet responded to our query.

Mine stopped almost a year ago...only ones I get now are the corporate ones where
they announce a new feature or major development.

No emails regarding wanted list, orders, etc...just stopped, I did no changes
on my end at all. Same stuff since 2005....

I had the same issue some awhile back but it had nothing to do with BL. My Internet
Service Provider flagged these BL emails as spam. I had to log into my ISP and
white list the BL email addresses.

Hi,

I'm also having a delay in receiving all emails from BrickLink. Yesterday's
Purchase Confirmation Mails all arrived at 2:56am (GMT+1) tonight. But then again
the mails from this morning are missing. Seems to be a general BrickLink issue.
Maybe we'll find out here when the mails will be received directly again.
Sometimes it really is the only way to know if orders are arriving.

I remember this problem occurring 2 years ago around the same time of year. It
took about a week and then everything went back to normal.

Kurzes Update zu der Problematik:

Ich hab mal ein wenig recherchiert und bin zu dem Ergebnis gekommen, dass das
Problem NICHT an BrickLink liegt, sondern an den Mail Anbietern der Empfänger.
So eben kam nämlich wieder eine Mail von BrickLink verspätet an. Ein Blick in
den Header verrät, dass diese sehr wohl pünktlich versendet wurde, allerdings
vom Mail Anbieter abgewiesen wurde. Dabei handelt es sich wohl hauptsächlich
um den Web.de und GMX.de Anbieter.
Da die Mails zwischengespeichert werden und zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt nochmal
ein Zustellversuch erfolgt und dies bei abertausenden Mails zeitgleich so passiert,
ist es naheliegend, dass Web.de und/oder Gmx.de den Absender (BrickLink) vorübergehend
als SPAM klassifiziert und auf eine Blacklist setzt. Beheben kann das nur der
Anbieter selbst. BrickLink oder der Empfänger selbst kann da nichts dafür. Da
ich diesen Zirkus jetzt schon ein paar Mal (nicht nur mit Bricklink als Absender)
beobachtet habe, lautet meine klare Empfehlung: Mail-Hoster wechseln. Grade Web.de
scheint da sehr fleißig zu sein, eigentlich harmlose Absender auf ihre Blacklist
zu setzen.
Ohne Werbung machen zu wollen: Ich bin gerade dabei zu Goneo.de als Mail Domain
Hoster zu wechseln. Einrichtung ist einfach, Kosten sind überschaubar und ein
erster Test funktioniert einwandfrei - auch mit BrickLink.
Alternativ sollten auch gmail.com Adressen funktionieren.

Vielleicht hilft das dem ein oder anderen.

vielen Dank für den sehr informativen Beitrag und die Tipps. Wir ziehen jetzt
ernsthaft in Erwägung, ebenfalls unseren E-Mail-Provider (bisher tatsächlich
Web.de) zu wechseln und es mal mit Goneo.de zu versuchen.
