| I bought a bunch of sealed bags and opened bags and spare parts belonging to
the set
I would say 90% complete.
What I can tell is that this inventory is so wrong!
It is nearly impossible to count parts inside sealed bags. Shall I open them
and then take photos?
My plan is to part out this set anyway.

| In my opinion this item should be renamed to 8284-1 as the current Dune Buggy
8284-1 is a B-model of the Tractor 8284-1. This in line with the neighbouring
nrs.

| Have already 3 used sets #9491, all troopers #sw0380 have head with HOLLOW STUD.
Is that possible? We got these sets in year 2017 and stored over the time, found-out
today while checked...?!

|
| The coastguard plane 371-3 from 1977 has a large number of inverted slopes 2
x 2. They exist in two shapes: a) with round inner pin, b) with rectangled inner
pin. Who knows wich were in the original set?
Moreover I‘m interested where the mould entries were on all standard parts. In
1977 no bricks with thin walls were used, far as I know.
I‘m not much interested in a wide discussion. Only responses that help clarification
are highly welcome.

|
| The Adventurer minifigures had multiple English names during the various subthemes
but not all are present in the catalog or are inconsistently named. The figure
"Gail Storm / Pippin Reed" have double names on each version of the character
already. Can the other multi-named figures be similarly renamed? This is very
needed as some figures are of the same character but have different names but
do not have both names.
Here are my suggestions for consistency. The first name is the widest used name,
and I've tried to include all North American, UK, and international English
versions. All of these are sourced from Birckipedia
adv006, adv026, adv033, adv035, and adv040 should be renamed "Dr. Kilroy
/ Dr. Charles Lightning"
adv003, adv004, adv005, adv039, adv025, and adv036 should be renamed "Baron
von Barron / Lord Sam Sinister / Sam Sanister". The Sanister/Sinister spelling
discrepancy was a division between North America and international English media
during the Dino subtheme later corrected for Orient Expedition.
adv038 should be renamed "Slyboots / Sam Sinister". As the Brickipedia
article explains, this character was originally named Sam Sinister in North America
and appeared alongside Baron Von Barron but was dropped in subsequent subthemes
and Baron von Barron was renamed Lord Sam Sinister. The Slyboots name is the
original Dutch name and provides clarity on the confusion.
adv002 should be renamed "Alexis Sinister / Alexis Sanister". Same spelling
discrepancy as "Baron Von Barron / Lord Sam Sinister / Sam Sanister"
adv014 should be renamed "Rudo Villano / Max Villano"
adv023 and adv043 should be renamed "Señor Palomar / Señor Gomez"
adv021 should be renamed "Pharaoh Hotep / Pharaoh Ramses"
Additionally, it doesn't seem like adv053a/adv053b belongs to Adventurers.
It was released in an educational set nearly a decade after the final orient
expedition set and doesn't seem to have any official relation to Adventurers,
especially considering the torso is a Kingdoms print.

I meant to add the info to set 6469-1 but sent it for 6461-1
How do I cancel my request for 6461-1?

| The End of Cardboard Sleeves
In the past we decided to add cardboard sleeves to the BrickLink catalog, because
after checking what was in it, the sleeves couldn't be closed again / were
damaged.
It was already decided not to add all cardboard sleeves, like the ones with instructions
and we also didn't add plastic packaging.
In the meantime packaging has changed for a while already. Cardboard sleeves
can be opened and closed again without damage, plastic packaging has been replaced
by paper sleeves and also large items are packed in paper sleeves. These paper
sleeves have the same open / close system as the new cardboard sleeves.
After discussing this in our Admin meeting, we decided not to add the paper sleeves
to the catalog and for the same reason to stop with adding cardboard sleeves
that can be opened and closed again without damage.
- The two sleeves on the left can still be added to the catalog, but not the
two on the right.
- The ones already in the catalog will stay there and set numbers can still be
added.
To add set numbers to the note of existing cardboard sleeves, you can submit
a catalog request here:

PS Let's hope LEGO keeps it this way.

| Hi,
I am asking if there is a way to export the entire list of parts lime. I can
do it with Rebrickable to add it to my growing Lego collection and use it to
cross-reference my Lego Excel document for the part that I have.
Below is a link to the Rebroclable parts list and more, https://rebrickable.com/downloads/
please let me know if you could do this or redirect me to any other resources

| Given that so many things have been merged to make space recently... How is it
we have some placeholder for 150k parts? Shouldnt we have lost several entrys?
Therefore delaying some hallmark spot???? Idk it just seems odd

|
| I'm quite confused that there's only one standard skull entry (3626bpb0001),
despite there being one print design from 1995-201*, and then a heavily refreshed
one with different elements and proportions from the mid 2010s onwards. The catalog
recognises small differences like the presence or absence of white pupils in
the Ogel head, but for two totally different skull designs, such a difference
is relegated to a note.

| Hi,
I want to add this beautiful piece to the catalog. Now I am wondering if it
is a set or gear. It contains a beautiful box, where you can put the lego model.
It contains also a coloring book and postcards.
Thanks for your advice.

| Our buyer contacted us about this part, and we just confirmed 6434511 is Hollow
Stud instead of Vented Stud.
Should I ask for Catalog change, or Catalog adding note? Will catalog entries
for those 3626bpbxxxx, 3626cpbxxxx, 28621pbxxxx merge in the future?
Thank you.

|
| I just received and was in the process of verifying all the extra
pieces against the catalog after putting it together. I believe there is a small
problem that was probably just a typo on the entry of the extra parts but wanted
to see if anyone else had the same results before I submitted a catalog change
request.
In the extra parts for the inventory it's stated to have 2 and
1 however I believe this to be incorrect based on my sealed set.
I believe is should be 2 Reddish Brown parts and 1 Light Bluish Gray. In looking
at the entire set as well, I believe that it would be highly to have 2 extra
parts of a color that on appears twice in the set across two bags to start with,
verses the Reddish Brown that appears 16 times across 5 bags.
Can anyone else confirm this with their build?

| Hello all,
I'm sure the answer is "just be patient", which is fine, but I wanted
to make sure I didn't do anything wrong with my submission of 5 new stickered
parts that were not previously in the catalog.
https://www.bricklink.com/catalogList.asp?itemPend=Y&uID=1913652
My pending submissions are here. There are also photos submitted separately to
go along with those items. Again, just making sure there's no glaring error
I committed and somehow these requests would go unnoticed forever. If there's
any way to tell just based on the pending entires.
Thank you for your replies and hopefully this will be the first round of many
future submissions!

| I have a question to the community. In the catalog the head for the Arc Trooper
sw0315 is listed with Blocked Open Stud. In my polybag (still sealed) the head
is a Hollow Stud.
Is the listing wrong? or did Lego issue this minifigure with both head types,
as often seen with minifigures in regular sets?

| I've just had a customer complain that my Sam Kerr isn't genuine?
However whilst its accurate as per Bricklink and Brickset it seems the set comes
with alternate hair pieces and whilst it may seem okay to use either it really
ought to match with the instructions which actually use:-
The promotional images of Sam Kerr holding the minifig also show it with this
hair design:-
